Chris Panagakis Photography

About

About

Chris Panagakis received his BFA, with honors, in 1999 from the School of Visual Arts in New York, ranked one of the top photography programs by U.S News & World Report.

Based in Los Angeles and shooting professionally since 2011, he is best known for making intimate, rich images everywhere from the red carpet to the studio.

To kick off 2015, Tower Cancer Research Foundation and BrandPolished Marketing made him their official photographer in February. March was especially exciting with portraits running in both the New York Post and the Los Angeles CBS2 evening news. In April, Chris' work was featured in the newly opened gallery at the San Francisco LGBT Community Center as part of a LEXhibition retrospective and will again appear this June at Gallery 825 in West Hollywood.

Starting with the Emerging Focus exhibition in which one of his portraits appeared in January, 2014 was a significant year for Chris. In March and again in June, Chris’ portraits appeared in gallery exhibitions in Indiana and California. His portraiture was also selected to appear in the online gallery Light Space Time. The second half of the year saw Chris’ event photography published in the Beverly Hills Courier three times in as many months.

In early 2013, Chris' work with the AIDS Life Cycle event, sponsored by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, was featured in the May 2013 issue of Vanguard magazine.
